Ear Measuring Mode
 

Remove the Top Cover to go to ear measuring mode.
Power on and gently fit the probe into your ear canal.

  Note that the probe can be rotated for better fit (Figure I).

Press the SCAN button to measure.

Forehead Measurement Mode
 

Fit Top Cover to probe by aligning the triangle sign with the gap

   (Figure II).

Take note to straighten and centralize the probe before fitting the

   Top Cover (Figure III). A slanted probe makes fitting difficult.

Power on. Position the probe at your forehead centre and contact

   with the skin.

Press the SCAN button to measure.

Operation Precautions

1.  Do not touch the probes tip with your figure.
2.  Always keep the probes tip clean. It is recommended to use a soft cloth and damp it water or alcohol to wipe the probe before and after use.
3.  Note that the thermometer is not water-resistant. Always keep the thermometer dry.
4.  Keep the thermometer in the provided plastic case when it is not in use.
5.  Store the thermometer in a cool and dry place. Free it away from dust and direct sunlight.
6.  To avoid inaccuracy, do not take measurements immediately after exercise or bath. It is recommended to rest for at least 30 minutes before taking measurements.
7.  Do not use the ear measuring mode if you are suffering from ear disease or wet canal.
8.  Keep your mobile phone and any transmitting devices away when you are taking measurements, as signal transmission may affect the accuracy of the measurements.
9.  Note that normal body temperature varies from person to person. A person may have a normal body temperature at 36.9C while the other at 37.4C.
